Railway Modeller - Larry Lanctot

Larry Lanctot 2009

This is Larry's Mug Shot

MY HOME LAYOUT IS CALLED TERMINAL STREET YARD.  IT IS HO SCALE, DC OPERATION, BASICALLY A 48"x31" OVAL WITH A RUNAROUND TRACK AND 3 SIDINGS TO SWITCH.  THE LAYOUT WAS DESIGNED TO HAVE CONTINOUS RUNNING AND SWITCHING POSSIBILITIES IN A SMALL SPACE WHILE PROVIDING A SETTING TO BUILD AND DETAIL STRUCTURES, SCENERY AND VEHICLES.  THE CURVES WILL ONLY ACCOMODATE 4 AXLE DIESELS, PREFERABLY SWITCHERS.

DISPLAY CASE
I designed and and custom built a display case to show my models. The case is made of solid oak with tempered glass shelves and sliding doors

THE LAYOUT IS BASICALLY BROKEN DOWN INTO 3 SECTIONS.

SMILEYS OIL DEPOT - 1 SIDING
A 7 1/2" TURNTABLE
